Found in the wunderkammern of an eccentric victorian collector of dark history,
we present ...
"Admit One"
The simple yet purposefully innocent looking "machina d'morti".
Lost in a footnote of history, these began appearing throughout England and allied europe just before the "Great War". Few exist today as most were, well ... quite frankly, exploded.
An unsuspecting citizen would see the most enticing metal face, full of promise and escape and more importantly - a free ticket to one of the succinctly "greatest shows on earth".
Either a pulled ticket or a pushed button would just as easily activate an electrical charge of such magnitude as to destroy most anyone and anything for up to a city block.
Survivors descriptions only served to explain the gruesome mayem after the damage was done. As many as 100 pieces were believed to be spread through 12 countries faster than any warnings could be ...
Gypsies were immediately blamed and outbreaks of vigilante violence escalated daily.
Confessions in the form of 14 letters written to the "Times" were published after the single culprit had already taken his own twisted and cowardly life.
You may see artist renderings and reproductions folks,
but believe you me - this is the genuine article.
Only one in existence.

STEAMPUNK ARCTIC EXPLORER - Concept

I like the idea of basing steampunk in the historical limitations of the technology of the day. The end result should be recognizable from the turn of the century and still something never seen before.
Here the truck can traverse an icy plane if fitted with "wheel skis" and hub extensions(these were really used). The robot/walker is built to kneel in the bed of the truck until inaccessable terrain warrants it's use.
A powerstart from a trailered generator, a few loosed "tie down cables", and one last surveyance(and peek at the map by the financier) and the exploration continues. Robot/walker complete with bell jar observation cockpit, archimedes screw arms, hand to hand motor control, exposed gear systems for maintenance accessability. (The rest of the small convoy, including crew carriers and the posh land yacht for the monopoly guy, not shown).

IRON MAN ARMOUR

Again, for the Superhero birthday party and the short notice these come with.
I decided to focus on the helmet ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/27774074@N02/2744756134/in/photostream )
 and chest armour.
Plastic pieces layered, bolted and sewn to a hockey shoulder pad set.
2 gigantic bullets and the reflective tape in the arc reactor really turned out well.
Am using this as a base to trick out the "Dr. Lazarus" costume I am working toward.

BLUE BLOOD

A bit of an antique even by Victorian standards, this one comes with a bedtime story ... We all know the tale of Young Prince Angatov's stolen crown and unjust banishment.
We all know how he spent his life wreaking vengeance upon those who betrayed his country and killed his family. And how from henceforth, he trusted only two things - his loyal airship crew and his pistol ... built from his grandfather's flintlock and a heart full of pain, we present -
"THE BLUEBLOOD".
Originally handsmithed in the Royal armouries, an inexhaustible ambergoen crystal for power, brass gears for clockwerk precision every firing, double buckled barrel for support, and triple fin radiator and four pressure gauges means no guesswork.
"The Prince of Nowhere" had an exactness for executing the construction of this gun and in executing his enemies.
So, call him a pirate or a hero or maybe a lost soul - this is the pistol that made history ... and for your consideration, the history that made the pistol.
